La Celestina ( La Célestine) est une œuvre de Pablo Picasso, réalisée à Barcelone en 1904. C'est une huile sur toile de 81 × 60 cm appartenant désormais au Musée Picasso-Paris [ 1],[ 2]. Cette toile marque l'apogée de la période bleue du peintre, allant de 1901 à 1904, durant laquelle la teinte bleue est largement prédominante [ 3] .

La Celestina is a painting of an old one- eyed woman who is dressed in somber color. She is partially blind and does not appear emaciated, contrary to other blue period paintings. She has rounded cheeks and a forceful and assertive presence.
